This should please those of you who always want her to wear trousers; it pleases me because I am a Sailor Pants Obsessive who keeps buying them in search for the perfect pair. (These on Kate are J Crew, but sold out, and I am bitter because I don’t know how I missed this pair. Instead, I own this pair from J Crew in navy and also in red (they only have a stripe left), but Kate’s are better, I suspect. I also bought this linen set, also from J Crew, but I can’t quite figure out how to wear them because they lace up the back. I almost think I need to find a cropped top for them? Can I do that? I feel frightened. You guys, I could talk about sailor pants for the rest of my life. In fact, I think I’ve totally lost track of what I’m actually supposed to be writing about here.)
