I feel like I should just post this with [INSERT FIGURE-SKATING JOKE HERE] and let you guys do the heavy lifting.
It looks like it’s a children’s size. Also, her shoes are too big – how do these girls get tricked into wearing these heels that must walk like flip flops?
Louboutin says that women naively think that shoes should be tight when they should be one size larger. If god himself says it…
You are totally right – it does look like a children’s size. A more defined waist and a slightly longer skirt would go a long way before we even address the sleeves.
I feel like this would have been good if there was a pop of color somewhere- bright lipstick, shoes, accessories, something so she doesn’t look so washed out
Agreed. She looks…beige.
I also totally agree : black sandals and red lipstick at least.
Oh yeah, for sure. I love the dress, it’s spot on. But her gym hair and beigebeigebeigebeige are killing me. Black shoes. Red lipstick. Something.
With a pop of color in shoes and earrings, this could have been fab. As is, it’s fine (though a bit short).
This is definitely a “Look Into Pants”
Agreed about the pop of color or a belt or something. Too beige.
i happen to think she looks real good i mean the shoes do look a little bit big but everything else is pretty good to be honest
Beige boob shelf, which throws off the proportions and makes the dress look even shorter than it already is. This look is just so boring, especially since she also matches the logos on the backdrop.
Why does she always choose the most bland colors? The cut of the dress doesn’t bother me so much, but why always a different shade of nude? It does nothing for her skin tone.
And the hair. Mine looks like that now, and I threw it up in 2 seconds because I worked out on my lunch break. She could be doing a lot more here.
It’s so nice to know I’m not the only person who works out on my lunch break…
I do not understand how that is possible. People tell me they do it. How. Is. This. Even. Possible??
The proportions of this look are completely wrong. This is just poor design.
Maybe a slightly longer skirt length would be better with her legs (they’re nice but spindle-y)? The boob shelf is totally awkward.
This would be beautiful with black sandals, a pop of colour in the face, another updo… and on Diane Kruger. It’s not just Kendrik’s style.
it’s cute…but why so SHORT!?
This is a bit too twee and Taylor Swift-y on Anna. She seems quirky, I wish she expressed that more in her clothes.
It’s so damn short! And it’s so blah that the shortness cannot be forgiven.
Ill-fitting and boring.
These (ugly) shoes fit neither her toes nor her heels !
i cannot mount a serious argument against anything that produces Such Legs For Days… try as i might.
Huh. From the neck up and the thighs to the ankles she looks 22. The dress makes her torso look like Helen Mirren’s torso. And her feet look like a five year old playing dress up in Mommy’s church shoes.
Her dress is too small (size two is for tiny women, size 6X is for small children), her shoes are too big, and it looks like she’s wearing Xena’s brass bustier underneath. But she’s doing it with good humor.
Is she using the Pocahontas soundtrack for her free skate?
For me this just reads “mildewed gyno smock.”
Beige Tinkerbell. That’s all.
Get out of my head, that’s what I thought: “Awww, Tink got bleached.”
She is all one color except for her hair. I think changing the dress color, add some length to it and some cute sandals…. good to go.
Is it really supposed to fit like that? The shoulders cut into her arms, the sleeves look shrunken, the elastic waistband is creeping up under her bust, it looks like she’s got an 18 hour Maidenform under there, the wayward waistline makes it breathtakingly too too short, and she’s wearing her Mom’s most boring shoes.
That waist isn’t even within 2 inches of her natural waist. Also, dishwater beige = BAD. Avoid avoid avoid, even if it does sparkle. (Or especially so in a TW context, but we’re all beyond that by now, right? Right? Please?)
This is the skateriest of skatery outfits I can remember seeing on this site.
Man, imagine this in BLUE. Or that purple shade she wore to the Globes that one time. Some sort of deep color would REALLY do wonders for this, I think.
I miss herrrr… sadface
Ice Capades Tinkerbell is missing her wings.
I like it and would happily wear it myself… I love sparkle! I think this is the best she’s looked in a long time! FAB!
Officially over nude.
It’s veering into skate costume territory, but still cute. It works on her. I like her style. She wore my favorite Oscar dress worn by anyone, ever; the pink floaty number the year she was nominated.
Nice set of pins!
More like, nice triple-axel, sister-wife.
It does look like pretty fabric, pity about the cut.
My first thought was that it looks like a child’s Tinkerbell costume that has been in the attic so long that the color has faded. And, I thought that before I read all the comments from others about how she looks like Tinkerbell!
As for the shoes, they are sooo poorly fitted. At first glance, they look too big because they are totally gaping in the back. But look at her poor piggies. Totally squooshed! It seems that if you are an actress (or even a morning show host these days), you must sign a contract in blood that you will wear mega-high heels at all events. I get it — heels make your legs look great, but THIS doesn’t look great. Her shoes look terrible, and if they look this ill-fitting, imagine how bad they feel! Podiatrists in Hollywood must be making a killing.
Gravity has a strong pull, and if your heels are really, really high, your feet are going to inevitably slide down toward the toe. Solution? If you go with a higher heel, you can find a shoe with a bigger toe box so your piggies aren’t crushed and always make sure to stand up and walk around in your high heels in the store so you can get the proper size. Another solution: If you go with a really high heel, you can go with something strappy that gives your piggies somewhere to go. Slingbacks too, can be helpful so when your foot does that inevitable slide forward, at least the shoe doesn’t look too big. My mom’s solution: wear flats!
I’d be embarrassed to leave the house like that (and I live in NYC where you can pop out to buy a carton of milk wearing your pyjamas). Ill-fitting for sure, but I could live with that if the dress wasn’t so short. The whole thing just looks stupid and embarrassing.
Am I the only one worried that her little spindly legs are going to give out under the pressure to hold up those boobs?
I love it! If I had legs like that I’d walk around in panties all day. Is that true, about Louboutin? I’d rather walk in too-small shoes than too-large shoes any day. Too-large makes your arch ache and your toes get exhausted with all that flexing to keep the shoe on.
Take this down to just above the knee and comb her hair and I’m in! Oh, yeah, I agree about the shoes. So change those, too and THEN I’m in!
Did you notice her right shoe? It appears to be one size too large. Otherwise, she looks wonderful and even better with the correct shoe size.
I totally thought I was the only one who said sister-friend!
I think the messy ‘do and the natural makeup save the dress from ice skate / fairyland territory. I love its unique loose line, which however doesn’t make her boxy at all. But I do agree the shoes are ill-fitting and not complementing the dress, which I see work with a bold color footwear: red, turquoise, apple green.
