Olivia Newton-John did not wear this in Xanadu.
But she probably should have. Preferably WITH the roller skates.
Man, this would be really beautiful if it were a short cocktail dress.
Except for the color, everything else about this is SO unflattering. Look at her face. She knows.
Or even a floor length dress, it would still be okay. Why did it have to be a JUMPSUIT. WHY.
This girl’s fashion choices are very intriguing to me… she looks so relatable and mainstream, and yet, her fashion choices are often really weird and lean toward big-sack-for-a-dress territory. In this case, I guess it’s big-sack-for-a-jumsuite. Which is not good.
I don’t think it’s super flattering in the bust area, but could live with that if it weren’t for the fact that this is a jumpsuit. It’s a lovely color for her though.
Her face says it all….. “yeah, I know, wtf?”
Come on, she is totally pretty here. At least she has a sense of humour, I mean look at that smile! She’s like “yeah this cloth thing was a bit too long and weird, but who cares, not me”
Add me to the ‘this would be cute if it were a dress’ chorus. I really like Kaley, and for a while she had to hide a cast so everything she wore was long and droopy, but girlfriend needs to break out of that habit now!
Any post mentioning Xanadu is a win to me!!!
zomg, you guys, I soooo loved these in the 70′s.
Such a scroll down fug.
But if she were wearing rollerskates, she’d likely suffer bone breakage! Look how long the legs on that thing are — nothing could protect her.
Pretty color, should have been a dress, long or short. And she needs a big bad cubic zirconium brooch right in the center.
I dunno; except for the fact that it’s too long, I kind of like the way she looks. It suits her. The color and fit (except for the too long pants part) are flattering and she can carry it off, even though she’s a small girl. I guess that’s because the proportions seem right.
And I recall that the costumes in Xanadu were a lot spanglier. This seems a little too sleek.
Someday, someone is going to trip over their over-long pants-whatevers and smash up a good nose job and start suing themselves some tailors for not WARNING them about the danger they were in. It will be on CNN and HLN and I will laugh and eat popcorn.
It’s just not practical. How would she go to the loo?
Wow, periwinkle Gumby…you don’t see that every day. This would have been a gorgeous dress, although too formal for the event, probably. It is a great color on her, though.
Periwinkle Gumby is right. Good lord. I really don’t understand why people seem to like her so much. She’s funny, and a good actress, but she seems like she thinks a little too highly of herself, at least, that’s the way she looks when she’s photographed.
My reactions, in order:
B. Boobs akimbo.
D. Three feet too long.
E. Seriously, fabric is pooling on the floor.
Make it a swingy, cocktail length dress and we’ll talk. Color is great on her.
As a feet-eating jumpsuit, HELL to the NO.
It kind of works for her. She’s a redneck in Hollywood. What else would she wear?
The color is nice, the length is laughable, but really, can someone get this pretty young thing a bra?
Nothing about the multi-toned hair?
Remember “elephant pants” from about 1974? My mom hated those. She was right.
And the hair is – clearly it must be intentional, but I don’t understand it at all.
Except that it’s too long I love this. Even the hair.
Why would you wear a hideous jumpsuit that would look perfectly lovely as a dress? So you don’t have to ride side-saddle? I propose a new catchphrase: “look into dresses”.
Heck, for all we know, Kaley here IS wearing roller skates — you can’t see her feet, so who knows?!
Beautiful color, it would be better as a dress, but really, WHY THE DUCKFACE? WHY, LORD, WHY??
