Hello, I’m obsessed with exfoliating my body. There is something so satisfying about scrubbing off all that dead skin! When I was a youth, I didn’t use the infamous St. Ives apricot scrub on my face, but I sure did use it on my arms. Later, I spent way too much money on the old school Bliss Spas Peppermint Scrub (RIP!!!). Now, I am generally brand loyal to Ole Hendrickson’s Lemonade Scrub for my face, but have been trying to find my new holy grail for the rest of me. At the moment, the frontrunner is Soft Services Buffing Bar, which I love. It EXFOLIATES. It almost hurts? It’s very satisfying, especially for the bottom of your feet and your heels.
But you can’t pick just one without trying other options. So, on deck is Mutha’s The Nudist exfoliating bar — related; are bar soaps back? Discuss — which I’m excited to try. On Instagram the other day, several of you let me know that Kate Somerville has made a version of her excellent Exfolikate for the body. (She also has something called INTENSIVE PORE EXFOLIATING TREATMENT.) I’ve heard Slather’s exfoliating bar is great, and it’s on its way to me right now; I’ve also only heard good things about DedCool’s body scrub, and I do love their room spray (it cracks me up that it’s called taunt). (Edit that DedCool just sent me a 15% off code: DWB15.) I like Remedy as a brand, and they’ve got an exfoliating lotion that I’m very curious about. (They’ve also just sent me a code! DWBJULY15 for 15% off.) (Although, as I’ve noted in the past, I am a lazy lotioner and am married to my Hanni stick.)
Also on my list of Body Exfoliants to Try: the Koba soap bar, which is supposed to be exfoliating AND moisturizing, and First Aid Beauty’s body scrub, which a lot of you also recommended to me when I noted that I really like their moisturizer. What else am I missing? What do you recommend?
