This post was inspired by a recent discovery of Baublebar’s collegiate collection, which is SO cute. (They don’t have my university — I’m sure those licensing rules are tricky — but I could definitely whip something together using my school colors.) Kids are heading off to college really soon, and college football will be back before you know it, and there are so many more cute options to show your school spirit — whether you’re a student or an alum or a fan or just someone who enjoys hosting tailgating events — than we had when I was in college. For example, if you went to UT, I feel like either you, or someone you know, needs a pair of “Hook ‘Em” earrings. Don’t worry, they also have slogan earrings for other schools; basically all of what I’m going to link here is going to have options for multiple schools, so if you like what you see, click in.
Etsy is a TROVE of these things — their clear bag selection alone is robust. These are adorable (and not strictly collegiate). Maybe you need a beaded “game day” strap for your clear bag. (I might.) Etsy is also my resource for vintage fan stuff — for example, I just searched “vintage UCLA” and came up with this track jacket I clearly need, and this insane bag from the 1980 Mirage Bowl. I also highly recommend Homage; that’s the page for Michigan State, but they have cute tees and sweatshirts for a lot of schools. Roots of Fight also has some cool stuff — I have a Jackie Robinson Pac 8 Track Championship sweatshirt that they don’t seem to have anymore but I know one of you who went to Cal wants this sweatshirt, for example.
There is also a ton of collegiate glassware out there; these, you can personalize with a little drawing of yourself (or whoever you’re giving these too) on them! That is CUTE. Related: You need ice in the shape of your school logo, probably. You obviously need a candle that looks like your university stadium, to burn when things get hairy. (I have one of these for Dodger Stadium and it did work for last night’s game.) I LOVE these throw pillows and it’s very annoying my school won’t approve that license. And these necklaces feature famous college landmarks!
Finally, obviously, someone needs a pair of these insane game-day overalls. Or something here — again, if something appeals but it’s not for your school, click though because these are just illustrative.
