Okay, I know some of you out there hated her Prabal ball gown from the Golden Globes, but I maintain that the risk was laudable and welcome. Because:
It’s not that this is bad — actually, CK is historically loving to her body — but we are getting to the point where I far prefer the chances to the safety blanket. Actually, let me backtrack a little: I bet this would feel glamorous and still fresh if she a) had her hair done differently, b) made sweet love to some red lipstick, and c) found herself a bad-ass bangle. There’s something to be said for sticking with what makes you feel sexy and comfortable, clothes-wise. So maybe we are focusing on the wrong rut. Maybe adjusting the other stuff would make the clothes less tired, because the whole THING would still be like new.
