The Client Fugist

It’s funny how it only takes a well-deployed set of jaunty “You, you, I know you! (Probably because I called TMZ to let them know I was jewelry shopping, but…DETAILS!)” finger guns to make me overlook a weird-ass sheer-skirted maxi dress, but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t work. I do love a jaunty finger gun.

Is it truly that difficult to dress yourself JLH?! you are short, so fit is a must, this incluuuuuuuudes hems – not to mention that you carry your weight on your bottom bc you are a pear, so dont highlight the rump!

sheesh…she really needs to enroll in Tim Gunn’s School of Dressing!

She has looked far worse! This is an improvement.

She needs someone to give her feet back. All these hover dresses might be the latest in tech, but they weird me right out.

Ladies my guess is those are Spanx. Which we really cannot fault a girl for wearing – Spanx do God’s work. If the dress is a thin material she probably couldn’t tell it was see-through until these pics came out.

The only good thing here is the color. Charcoal suits her.

Lol. I love that SNL sketch! The dress? Not so much.

    Let’s start at the top.
Get thy bangs out of thine eyes.
This is the absolute worst cut of bangs there is.
It makes me feel like I can’t see anything properly, just looking at her.
    Now…sigh…the dress.
    I’m sensing a trend here.
Has matronly/dowdy suddenly become a fashion craze?
Considering that Gossip Girl in her awful pants, Wilde in that Golden Girls dress and this…I’m starting to wonder.
    Yee Gods.

Isn’t she the one claiming to be a size 2 or something like that? Sure doesn’t look like that to me.

    Fugly dress, by the way.

I don’t think there’s any finger gun happening there, jaunty or otherwise. I think she’s just pointing (didn’t her mama tell her that’s rude?) and didn’t tuck her thumb in.

As for the dress, it’s quite bad but not nearly as bad as some of the other stuff she’s worn. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with that.

Under her dress, I spy with my little eye….bike shorts!

Can we get a close-up of that monstrosity on her chest? Is that part of a necklace or is it an applique/design on the dress?

See my other 4 or 5 posts about how much I hate a sheer maxi over a miniskirt.

@BIgNoise: The thing on the bodice is an applique or embroidered design. (Up close it looks like an overly-meaningful tattoo gone wrong.) The necklace is totally separate and not to blame in any way.

On the upside, I rather like her hair that colour. And she looks happy. It makes the sheer/length/godawful applique issues seem a little more tolerable.

OMG, those are TOTALLY Spanx under there, Catherine. Yes. Good call. Also, JLoHew? Please stop being so deperate. It makes me sad.

if it was cropped to the sheer part, it would be just fine.

Hey lose the crappy sheet skirt and this would look 400% better in an instant!

Ooops I meant ‘sheer’ not ‘sheet’ but I guess it is kind of like a transparent sheet as well.

Are we sure she’s not about to announce the imminent arrival of baby LoHew?

The underpinnings – I think not Spanx, but short ‘modesty’ lining. I had a skirt like that once, which I always thought was quite cool and risqué – legs! in the office! sheer! tantalising! – to my horror I realise it probably looked like this one: weird! big pants! weird!.

Oh well. At least I no longer work there.

Oh, cripes, not another sheer overlay over anything.

I’m pretty sure that the only reason we can see through that dress is the camera flash. However, that still leaves the question about the dress being a good idea in the first place :D

Is that a wig she’s wearing? I think that’s a wig. Why, oh why?
