LC here has a new book — it’s called Celebrate, but DO NOT confuse it with the Pippa Middleton book of the same title – and so she is out and about promoting it. As always, she essentially looks like a reasonable person. I assume a lot of what she is wearing is her Kohl’s line, which is why none of it seems…earth-shaking? That’s not shade: I have always thought it was very smart of her to take her celebrity status as “friendly girl-next-door in a generally reasonable outfit” and actually start selling generally reasonable things at reasonable prices at a place where a lot of people can buy them. And while these looks are a little…god, I had to use the word “basic,” because I personally LOVE a bunch of stuff that people dismiss as basic and I don’t give a shit. Let’s say, instead, that while some of these looks are a wee bit undercooked, I suppose that’s better — and far more on brand — than her wearing something that instead looked as if it had been burned to a crisp.
