It figures that just as one Dior snaps my sanity in half like a Kit Kat, another comes along to make me eat those words. Those delicious, delicious chocolate-covered wafer words. Ahem. Anyway, this is a very unusual dress, but I mean that as a compliment; somehow it’s found its perfect wearer. If this had fallen into the hands of Jennifer Lawrence, I’m not sure she could carry it, or it might seem too frumpy. But Kristin is making it look really easy.
I don’t actually know what the pattern is, and I don’t want to, because my mind’s eye has already translated it as a beautiful artistic rendering of a Champagne bottle popping. I will not be swayed. This dress is fashion bubbly. Fill me up.
