I always assume Dita will be in a deeply Old Hollywood, monochrome satin gown by Zac Posen. So this was a total surprise to me:
Neither this print nor silhouette is something I’d have predicted on her, EVER, and it is NUTTY. Like a lampshade, or a party favor, at the Queen of Hearts’ summer home in Wonderland. You have to eat some really suspicious candy in order to understand what it is, or how to use it. And six hours later you’d wake up with cake in your hair and an Ace of Clubs in your pocket that says simply, “YOU’RE ON,” in unknown writing.
Having said that… I don’t know how, but she’s bringing a bizarre amount of dignity to it. Don’t try this at home.
