We are in summer’s dark days, when fewer and fewer celebs seem to show up around town. There is not a preponderance of events, and frankly, most of them have probably been doing what I’m doing: holing up and flipping between MSNBC and CNN (and, yes, Baywatch reruns) while eating their feelings. So I salute you, Alysia Reiner, for so selflessly slitting open a king-size pillow case and gluing it your frock, so that we might have something to discuss. In return for this courtesy, I will compliment your lipstick. High-five.
