We have a melange of photos from Venice that we haven’t had a chance to share yet, including a ceremony at which, improbably, both Faye Dunaway and Nicola Peltz Beckham received honors. Dunaway’s was a lifetime achievement, which makes sense, as she has achieved much in her lifetime. But NPB’s was for being a Rising Star. NPB’s last movie, Lola, was a widely loathed poverty/stripper/addiction cosplay that she wrote and directed and starred in, which made $648 at the box office. Why is she rising, you ask? Well, she and Faye happen to be in a movie together called Prima that’s coming… eventually… date to-be-determined… so it seems money talks, and Venice is eagerly listening.
