I just looked at the calendar and realized that there's only nine days until Halloween and I should have run this post last week! (There was a lot going on with the site migration.) Luckily, we still have time to get a variety of spooky things in time for Halloween weekend – or at least to kick up whatever you've already got going on up to eleven for the big day. (Halloween being on Saturday is a blessing for everyone.)
As I've mentioned before, BaubleBar's Halloween collection is – no pun intended – a hoot. Their skeleton earrings are an iconic bestseller, but don't sleep on these teeny ghosts, these dangly bat earrings, or these frankly UNHINGED (complimentary) haunted houses.
Elsewhere, I love this little tiny ghost pillow. Maybe you need a Bubbling Witch Caldron for your party. Or this Halloween ornament wreath! William Sonoma's great spooky dinner plates are on sale and will get to you before next Saturday. Ditto their black pumpkin dutch oven. Actually, a ton of their Halloween stuff is on sale! (These plates, at Macy's, are so cute, too.)
Obviously, you need candles that look like witches' hats. (I honestly feel like you could also pretend they're pilgrim hats for Thanksgiving.) Maybe your cat needs this costume (although move fast if you want to get it in time for Halloween). It's absolutely the time to wear a tee shirt that just says ZOMBIE on it, although you'll need to cross fingers on the shipping with this one. What about toothpicks – like for your cheese plate, not for your teeth – that look like axes and chainsaws?
