Casey wrote and directed Company, which is not, sadly, his gothic take on the Sondheim musical, but a story-within-a-story-within-a-story tale set in three different time periods, co-produced by his brother, and starring both of his sons and also his girlfriend. Apparently his younger son Atticus has a large and arguably leading role in the film, but he didn’t attend; the older, Indiana, is here. Amusingly, over in Deauville, Ethan Hawke brought his child who is named Indiana — his daughter — to Venice. Do we think they both owe these names to Harrison Ford? Are they all die-hard Larry Bird fans (this would be a surprise from an Affleck)? Perhaps they can interview each other for Vogue someday and ask.
