Let us not pull punches: This is a sad jagged mess.
The quilted white shift underneath might be fine on its own, as a casual day dress, with bright heels and good accessories — the kind of thing Reese Witherspoon or Emmy Rossum would be snapped in while walking down a nondescript street to a medical building, or a small cafe. The yellow piece here looks like it got savaged on the mannequin by somebody’s drunken ex, or drunken ex’s ex, in a telenovela called Los Venenos De Los Pecadores (“The Poisons of the Sinners”), which hopefully Jessica and I will be writing.
