On this day in 1998, Christina Applegate and Noah Wyle announced the Golden Globe nominations. Christina somehow brought major Tracy Flick energy despite that movie not even coming out until 1999, and Noah Wyle is the guy who did none of the reading and let her finish their group project largely on her own, content to just hold the envelope with the notecards she does not need and then get the A he does not deserve.
