Happy weekend! Hope you have a fun one planned, in spite of [vague gesturing at everything].
At Drinks With Broads this week, we tackled that new Vogue cover and celebs we miss, and did you know you can buy Mr. Big’s will? Plus anagrams! And I’m delighted for UCLA.
Here at GFY, our awards season retrospectives continue. In case you’ve got some time to kill at work today, behold: Renate Reinsve, Ethan Hawke, Amy Madigan, Emma Stone, Kate Hudson, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Rose Byrne, Elle Fanning, Wunmi Mosaku, Michael B Jordan, and Timothèe Chalamet. (Teyana Taylor is coming up next week. I’ve been saving her because I feel like she’s going to be incredibly fun and I want to savor it.)
Also: I rounded up a bunch of cute things you might need that are all under $40.
And: What are your favorite podcasts right now? And what are you evangelizing?
All this moon content is so cool! At National Geographic: See a jaw-dropping ‘Earthset’—and a rare solar eclipse from the far side of the moon. I’m so happy all those astronauts get to experience this and we’re so lucky to see the footage. (Apparently, some folks are worried about their re-entry; God willing, it will all go well.)
Cooper Hewitt has announced the winners of the 2026 National High School Design competition — the competitors are in high school — and they’re all great. These kids are SMART.
Love this new series from our friends Tom & Lorenzo: The Bitter Kitten Movie Club: MARIE ANTOINETTE (2006)

Lainey wonders what Rihanna and Beyonce are doing in Paris….Met Gala prep? Makes sense to me.

This is such an interesting piece about the La Brea Tar Pits, AKA one of the Los Angeleno child’s most important field trips. (It is not about field trips.)
My answer to this question is YES: Remember the Spiegel Catalog?
I just got this shirt (the denim version) and I really like it — I am in fact wearing it right now. If you’ve also been eyeing it: It’s for sure oversized. You do not need to size up! My favorite AYR trousers are also on sale and I’m really tempted to get another color. (That’s final sale so double check your measurements. If you are between sizes, size up: there is an internal button that lets you tighten the waist.) I am tempted by these jeans, too, but I don’t need any more jeans!!!!! (How many times will I say that and will it ever be true?)

The host of this year’s Tony Awards is…Pink?! Sure.
Lainey tackled a lot of Thursday’s BTS content. I love that they went on Hot Ones.
This seems like a logistical mess: You Don’t Yell at a Broadway Show. But What if It’s ‘Rocky Horror’?
For my fellow Elemis fans, a heads-up that QVC is running a great deal on this five piece collection. It comes with a gift box if you want to give it to someone but I would just give it to myself. (QVC is a good source for Elemis; they sell almost everything as a twofer in case you’re very brand loyal and know you’ll use two Marine Creams or whatever.) The Sephora sale is also coming up but Sephora does NOT have the gift box, if you are tracking these things. On the topic of skincare sales: Dr. Brandt’s eye duos are all on sale this weekend, too.
House & Garden UK is rerunning pieces from their archives. This week: Vita Sackville-West on her garden at Sissinghurst (1950)

Did you see this? Jo Adell Stole Three Homers And A Win From The Mariners. These catches were incredible. I’m sorry the Angels ownership sucks so hard.
FYI: Trying to Thrift Vintage Gap? You and Everybody Else. I’m sure I’ve got some still in my archives! (“My archives” = my closet. I FOR SURE still have that iconic striped scarf from the holiday collection; I have two, actually, because I wanted a longer scarf and sewed two of them together.)
If you like Margaux shoes, they have a new spring drop; I used to have a pair of sandals just like these and I wore them ALL the time. Now I’m wondering what happened to those… I also like these super low profile mules. (I am trying to branch out from wearing my Birks CONSTANTLY.)
