And while ruched satin may have been a common error of the era, just so you know: Even 12 years ago I did not wear colorful footless tights. I know no one who wore colorful footless tights. Apparently they were out there, but blessedly, mercifully, this is one trend that never made its way onto my Flickr page. Because I’ve always lived my life by the mantra, “Do not make anyone wonder whether you are wearing stirrup pants,” and I stand by that, dammit. We all have to stand for something.
