Cue my annual rant about how Hollywood has always feted the young — but also a kind of contradictory rant about how this invite has always had a fluid definition of “young,” which is also sort of heartwarming. I still want my proposed “A Night For Elderly Hollywood,” which starts at 5:30 sharp and everyone is home by 9 p.m at the latest. There are seats for everyone and the lighting is very flattering but not so dark you can’t read the bar menu. It’ll be great.

As far as this party goes, though….the dress code seems like it was extremely vague.
