Back in February, Michelle Yeoh wore this yellow Dior while getting her Walk of Fame star. I can understand wanting to pick a breezy summery sunshine-yellow gown now that we’re in the heat of summer, but unfortunately the dress still has kind of the same issues — the style is still a bit messy for me, as if it were glued to her, and the hems don’t help that. Michelle wore sparkly shoes with it that somehow didn’t particularly stand out, but these white ones that look like foot-thongs DO stand out and not in a good way. My conclusion remains that both these women are so beautiful that they can work miracles, but even so, neither one of them should have to.
Honorable mention to Bel Powley; I hope she wasn’t sweltering, because she looks fantastic in that coat and heels, even with what looks like the pieces of a broken airplane hanging out of one ear.
