I must confess that I love pulling together these random shopping collections. I actually love writing all of our shopping posts, but sometimes it’s fun to step outside of any predetermined categories to be like: Do you want a bath mat that looks like a slice of watermelon? What about a tiny Viking figurine? Would a pink inflatable sofa cheer you up? Are you in the mood for a magnet that looks like a Cheeto puff? Or notecards covered in little olives? Or a dog toy that looks like a berry pie?
I know you have a friend who’d be amused by earrings that look like bottles of white wine. Baublebar has a new collegiate collection, if you’re looking for cute swag for football season, for yourself or your college-aged daughter or niece. (My school isn’t represented, but yours might be!) You might want a cardigan with a lighthouse and a lobster on it — and it’s too soon for me to really be looking at sweaters BUT this striped one with a happy face elbow patch is real cute. (So is this striped henley.) Eby has a new ’80s collection and it is a HOOT. Maybe I DO need a leopard print and hot pink sheer bra! Did you know Pete Davidson designed socks with the Staten Island ferry on them? (They’re cute.)
