You might recall Elizabeth from playing Jordan Baker in Baz Luhrmann’s Great Gatsby. She’s getting a lot of press lately thanks to The Night Manager, as well, and yes, if you’re wondering, she IS as tall as this makes her look (she’s 6’2″):
She recently worked with Cate Blanchett, and I wonder if a little bit of the special sauce tried to rub off on her. This is a gutsy gown. I’m actually surprisingly on board with the mesh-y poncho quality of the top, but the tiers on the skirt are distracting and over the top for me. And not for nothing, the pattern is giving me flashbacks to my sixth grade science fair project. By the looks of this dress, and by my memory of the glasses of orange juice I left in our warm pantry, she has enough penicillium mold here to treat several diseases.
He’s all, “Tom Hiddleston, Fungus Detective. I hear you’ve got some science happening. Take me there.” OH WE WILL, TOM. We will. ZING.
