The more I look at these, the more I think Marc Jacobs is doing some kind of a Fuck You to fashion, punking everyone and trying to see how far he gets. In the last year, he got a lot of his terrible shoes in magazine spreads — several of the models in this show struggled to walk, which is a thoughtful thing to do to people — and I am eager to see who puts on some of these pants. Because the thing is, SOMEONE will. Tracee Ellis Ross, probably. As for the others, I’m picking Slide 7 for Natasha Lyonne. The next era of Sabrina Carpenter could be slide 9. And should we go Sarah Paulson for Slide 16?
