Informative Caption tells me that this is “the launch celebration for QVC’s Q50 ‘Age Of Possibility platform,” at the Santa Monica Post Office.” This last part sounds insane but there IS a beautiful building in Santa Monica that used to be a post office and it makes sense that it’s an event space now; this actually makes me feel better, because that building being closed was sad. ANYWAY enough about historic preservation. I honestly think this dress is CUUUUUTTTE on her — it actually is by QVC, which means Busy wearing this was excellent work on her part for the brand. It will not that come with the dickie, which I think was a savvy add, and it turns out it is a romper, which I like less than a dress. Having said that: Now that I’ve praised the very smart styling, I personally think the socks might be a bridge too far. Not in a way that enrages me, or anything. In a light, calm way. In a way where this is obviously still fun.
