Sigh. I miss big red carpet events, and I appreciate Sofia Carson for showing up for this — an event at which I believe she was the only attendee (and which honestly might have been staged in her backyard? It wasn’t an actual premiere as much as just for PR so why not go for it?) — like we’re still in The Before Times. That Prada fringed dress is MAJOR, and she looks fab in it. Very Roaring Twenties vibes. Which is appropriate, after all. (Apparently this movie is about a mutated Covid pandemic, which might be a bit of a harder sell for folks at the moment than this dress, and reviews of it are not great.)
