Somehow, we’ve made it another week. I’m happy to welcome you all back to our very (correctly!) truncated Royals Round-Up. Above, per a very Informative Caption, “Queen Maxima pays a working visit to technology company Demcon in Enschede. The visit takes place in the context of the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). Demcon has developed, tested and produced a ventilation system that is suitable for the ventilation of corona patients in intensive care. Queen Maxima wore a face mask during the visit.” (She did, I saw the pics.) She ALSO wore a great coat? Thanks for giving that to us, Max.

This is QUITE great:

Princess Sofia of Sweden first day at work, Sophiahemmet hospital, Stockholm, Sweden - 16 Apr 2020

Per Informative Caption: “Princess Sofia of Sweden on her first day at work at Sophiahemmet hospital, of which she is the patron. The Princess has completed an intensive training program and will now be able to assist hospital staff with non-medical related tasks during the coronavirus pandemic.”  GOOD FOR HER! That is pretty amazing. (She’s also fortunate to have plenty of bedrooms to isolate herself in to keep her germs away from the rest of her family, if need be.)

Here at GFY, in case you missed it:

We did a look back at Letizia and Felipe’s wedding.

We did a big retrospective of Queen Margrethe, as it was her 80th birthday.

Princess Anne is on the cover of Vanity Fair.

And we looked at everything Kate’s worn on Easter Sunday.

Related, this week marks the anniversary of her’s and Wills’ trip to NZ and Oz when George was a baby; if you want to relive that trip, which was so fun, it all lives here. (Technically, we are smack in the middle of the anniversary of that trip, it was long.)

Elsewhere:

Harry and Meghan did food delivery with Project Angelfood over the Easter weekend (and I guess this week as well). That’s great! I did some volunteer work with that organization in college and it’s a truly great longtime LA charity. [People]

Related, also at People, also great: Sophie, Countess of Wessex Rolls Up Her Sleeves and Cooks Spaghetti to Feed Healthcare Workers

A bunch of Euro royals made Margrethe a video wishing her happy birthday, since her party was cancelled. It’s lovely. I’ve never heard a lot of those people speak. [This is at The Daily Mail I KNOW!!!! But I couldn’t find another post where you could just watch the video and the audio worked properly.]

At Town & Country, LOGISTICS: How Stately Homes Like Downton Abbey’s Highclere Castle Are Coping During the Coronavirus Pandemic

This is not a surprise and honestly at this point, I’d just look into being privately married (if possible; seems like it should be?) and calling it a day. Disappointing, yes, but they can have a huge party later if this ever ends: Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi forced to postpone royal wedding due to COVID-19 crisis per Hello! But People is reporting it is CANCELLED. Do we think they’ll get married at all?

And on social:

This is nice. Kate looks VERY Kate, and is clearly doing her own hair, and may have whilst bored taken an inch off the bottom. As have we all:
