I’ve looking forward to the Nicole Kidman/Lulu Wang limited series Expats since I read about it BUT I also FORGOT ABOUT IT since it’s been in production so long, so good news: This red carpet actually did what it was meant to do and reminded me about it. CONGRATS EVERYONE. (Although it also reminded me that there was some unflattering chatter about the project.) The other good news? Though I think this rides a bit too low on her, this dress could easily have washed Nicole out and it doesn’t. In fact, I think she looks great. What a pleasant development at the end of the year.*
*I’m ignoring an objectively slightly boring shoe choice in the name of seasonal cheer.
