Lady Gaga swung by Saturday Night Live last weekend to introduce Bad Bunny, although at first I wasn’t entirely sure it was her because we only saw her head and she looked like this. Mick Jagger was also on-hand, and apparently that’s because she wore this to perform with Mick on Thursday and now they’re pals. This jumpsuit reminds me of the time Robyn had a tube of wrapping paper for a leg. As clothes for a Mick and Gaga collaboration go, it makes sense. What threw me was her face, honestly? It’s clearly Gaga but her eyes are a different shape. Here she is on the set of Joker 2: Why Is This Happening To Us, where she’s just in minimal makeup, and then you look at this… is it just the eyeliner? Did she pull her hair back too tightly? Is it both? Whatever it is, that’s FINE, it just threw me. She looks kind of like Gaga by way of Natasha Bedingfield.
Also that wig is terrible. It has to be a wig. Please be a wig. It reminds me of one I wore for Halloween, oh, about 18 or 19 years ago, when I went as Hilary Duff. I bought it at Aah’s and it never completely shook out properly after leaving the package. I still have it; right now it’s gracing a skeleton lounging in the hammock in the front yard. And it looks better.
