It’s been nine years since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel, and the trial is finally happening. She showed up to testify, and frankly, the whole thing sounds terrifying and awful and it makes me angry all over again that so many people at the time tried to act like it was her fault for being famous and wearing jewelry in the first place. And of course, because people don’t like her, they are also being bratty about her blinging up her courtroom fashion — but I think, good for her. These assholes bound her and pointed a gun in her face and robbed her, invading her space and her psyche, and she ABSOLUTELY deserves to march in there wearing couture and diamonds to communicate that ultimately they didn’t win. I see it as victory bling. Rub it in their faces, girl.
