I understand that this may not be true, but it sure FEELS like — even pre-pandemic — we’ve seen Justin Bieber slinking around town almost exclusively in sweatpants and hoodies and slippers. But two nights ago, An Attempt Was Made. Yes, I think he could have looked slicker if he tucked in his shirt. But not because I demand a tucked-in shirt; rather, because satin is a tricky fabric, so I think everything around it needs to be extra crisp to compensate for the fact that it can look sloppy. Also, that particular hat looks like he stole it from someone else’s head, rather than being the exact lid he planned for this outfit. Nonetheless! If Justin Bieber can break with leisurewear and actually attempt an ensemble, then perhaps there is hope for me. PERHAPS.
