Jonathan Bailey and his hella-gelled hair are going SUPER casual here, ScarJo in her custom Balmain looks like she’s at a formal corporate gala, and Mahershala is toeing the line between them. He looks fantastic — it’s Tom Ford — and you could put him in an individual photo with either of the other two and be like, “Okay, this sort of tracks,” but when you see them all together he somehow looks the MOST correct to me. But maybe part of the problem is that, while there is a red carpet, there is ALSO a giant fake rock wall behind them that looks like they’re attending the opening of a ride.
And them someone brought what I believe is a fake creature. Supposedly it’s “Dolores,” the movie mascot and a new dinosaur, but they seem to be treating this situation like it is a real creature with a real wrangler? Scarlett and Mahershala are doing exactly as I would be doing: eyes forward, lips pursed, pretending none of that is happening.
