Alexander McQueen’s legendary debut collection for Givenchy was Spring/Summer 1997. He called it, “The Quest for the Golden Fleece,” after the Greek mythological story. This is an outstanding deep dive for this press tour from Law and Zendaya. I wondered at first why they wouldn’t leave it for the main premiere, but I assume they decided the symmetry of Zendaya’s mask with the Eiffel Tower was a visual pairing too potent to ignore.
