I truly thought we’d seen the worst that could possibly befall poor Anna, when she had to help Lady Mary transport a dead body, or when she had to be in charge of procuring and hiding Lady Mary’s birth control, or those two times that her spouse was accused of murder and incarcerated, especially given that he for sure did at least one of those. But I guess I was wrong!
