Agent Peggy Carter is obviously a precious treasure too good for this cruel world. And that is why I cannot decide if the fact that she look like the marquee guest star in a Very Special Episode of Dynasty set at one of the fundraisers on Dallas is a good thing — maybe someone will cast Hayley Atwell in an amazing period piece film that’s like Bonfire of the Vanities meets Real Housewives of Dallas, and is just a two-hour-long supercut of people storming into rooms and throwing a drink in someone else’s face — or if she deserves something that feels a little less Miss Texas Panhandle 1987.
