I don’t have much to add to the headline here, other than to reiterate that it’s likewise great to see something from Armani’s archives; this dress is from Fall/Winter 2007. Danielle Deadwyler is getting fantastic reviews for Till and should be making the awards season rounds, and it’s very exciting to see that she’s getting some proper red carpet looks (she is styled by Wayman + Micah, who also work with Jodie Turner-Smith, Tessa Thompson, and Keke Palmer, among others).
This is gorgeous and she looks great in it. It’s sexy but not too intense; the illusion netting works as illusion netting is meant to; the color and sequins are subtle and and divine. The end!
