Dear Edward is an Ann Napolitano book about a child who is the only survivor of a plane crash, so basically, do not expect to sample the new TV series version without Big Feelings. The adaptation comes from Jason Katims, who brought us Friday Night Lights, and unsurprisingly he used this as a chance to reunite with the erstwhile Tami Taylor. If only he brought Coach along as well, or Saracen. Or RIGGINS. Surely that guy would be emotionally medicinal for us all.
