Capote vs. The Swans was a disaster, creatively — Jessica’s recaps on Drinks With Broads did a great job underscoring what failed and what COULD have succeeded — but most of the acting was top-notch so there’s definitely plenty with which to woo Emmy voters at panels like this. I just hope Ryan Murphy and specifically Jon Robin Baitz don’t take it as validation for the actual scripts.
