Look…you’re not going to get a bad cover with Linda Evangelista. She can do the Up the Nose shot better than almost anyone. And it’s great to have her back. I do wish this shot felt clearer?
The profile is VERY well done; it’s penned by Linda Wells, a pro if ever there was one. (You don’t send some random youth to interview Linda Evangelista.) I highly recommend you click over and read the entire thing. I am a little…disappointed in how many of the interior photos are, like that top cover, filtered, fuzzed, intentionally overexposed, or distorted, given how much Evangelista and Wells talk about aging in this piece. Linda Evangelista deserves a clear photograph of her face! It feels like those photos are trying to obfuscate the very aging they’re talking about at length, and I think that’s a disservice.
I believe this is the subscriber cover, and I think this one’s a beaut:
Also low-key like Linda is a cult leader, which she could be.
Having said all that, and acknowledging that I think this one is also too blown out, I might have made this one the newsstand cover shot:
