WWD described this show as referencing a 1997 couture collection by Thierry Mugler called "Les Insectes," and quoted the current designer Miguel Castro Freitas as saying it's about “the feral aspect of nature versus the ethereal aspect of nature — the fragility versus the danger." They also wrote:
