Louis Vuitton lost its menswear chief when Virgil Abloh passed away. Abloh was a tough act to follow, surrounded as he was with buzz and starry friends; LV chose as his successor one of those friends, musician and fashion aficionado Pharrell Williams. And BOY did Pharrell bring out HIS friends in Paris yesterday. We heard Rihanna was present, but we don’t have any pictures of her — true to form, she reportedly arrived late, after the show had already begun. He also drew Beyonce out of her cocoon, though, along with Megan Thee Stallion, Naomi Campbell, Riz Ahmed, Kelly Rowland, Lebron James, and Kim Kardashian, among many others. We’ll get to the catwalk later; right now, let’s see what we might have to look forward to every six months when he puts on a show.
