First it was Mark Indelicato — with his guest Ana Ortiz — at Hacks, and now, here come Becki Newton and Christopher Gorham to promote The Lincoln Lawyer. It’s a series based on books by Michael Connolly, about a lawyer who, WAIT FOR IT, runs his practice out of his car. Sounds a bit like Ed to me, but with grittier aspirations, which I know because IMDb calls him an “iconoclastic idealist.” The Wikipedia synopsis of the book really made me laugh; no spoilers, but it says, at the end, “He also conducts much self-examination and acquires some emotional baggage.” You know, that ALSO sounds like Ed.
