These two are in a movie together, Beautiful Boy, that is probably very sad because I think said boy is addicted to drugs. (However, I am more likely to see that than Welcome to Marwen, which looks excruciating.) And y’all know how I feel about Steve Carell, Distinguished Older Gentleman; in case you don’t, it’s DEEPLY DEEPLY PRO. I was on the fence about Chalamet, but something about the haircut and the red suit makes him work for me. It’s like I couldn’t find his bone structure before, when he had all the floppy hair, or something. I don’t know. Anyway, I’m here for it now and will probably eventually sob my way through this movie, and root for Steve to win an Oscar someday for something because I think he’s a super actor who is too overlooked (y’all, his Bobby Riggs in Battle of the Sexes was fantastic, and that whole movie got tossed aside for reasons I don’t understand).
