This movie is apparently about a student whose poor, put-upon physics teacher — Rita Moreno here — threatens to fail the entire class because some dipshit cheated on the midterm. Instead of being annoyed by the cheater, said student decides to get revenge by falsely accuse her of murdering a student who’s gone missing?!? HOW DARE YOU, CHILD. Rita Moreno can only kill you with TALENT. Perhaps she could kill you softly with her song. If Rita did secretly kill that student, MAYBE THEY DESERVED IT. Although I, like Wadsworth, don’t approve of murder, so I guess if that’s the twist then I’ll have some work to do on myself. Let’s enjoy Rita here hopefully coming out on top in her poncho and bright pants, which share a color with blood, which hopefully she did not spill in this fictional universe. I find her so wonderful. Can we bubble-wrap her? Who else needs bubble-wrapping for eternal protection? They sell very big rolls of it, so we’ll have some extra.
