We cannot blame this on Chanel — as much as I wanted to do so. It is Ralph Lauren, circa 2014. The fit on it is fantastic. And it makes it her look like she’s launching a new version of Newsies, where all the roles are played by middle-aged women.* Also featuring Catherine Zeta-Jones, Audra McDonald, Kate Hudson, Renée Elise Goldsberry (who is going to be a revelation), and Sandra Oh if she can sing and also if she can’t. This film will be ridiculous, a huge hit, and my entire personality for at least 18 months.
*this is not shade as I am, myself, a middle-aged woman.
