On one hand, I generally dislike Ryan Murphy’s oeuvre – with exceptions, to be clear! — and I tend to think his work often (subconsciously) demonstrates a profound dislike of women. On the other, Ryan Murphy employs SO MANY WOMEN of various ages that you do have to give him credit. American Horror Story alone probably bought Jessica Lange (one of the best Jessicas) a vacation home, and I want Jessica Lange to have a nice vacation home for her work in Tootsie alone!
