I have never been so excited to see a new event pop up on Shutterstuck in my whole life. It’s a MOVIE PREMIERE! A new premiere! Of a new movie! (I couldn’t tell if there were a lot of other people there; I suspect not. BUT STILL.) I’m so delighted. Congrats to our friends in South Korea for managing the pandemic well enough to get to a place where we can have a movie premiere there. That is not going to happen in the United States….for a very long time. (Please wear your masks!)

This is actress Lee Joo-young, and she’s starring in a movie called Baseball Girl, about a woman who wants to be a professional baseball player. From my research, she seems best known as a TV actress, and she’s done a lot of sports-related projects, including Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, which is “A coming-of-age story about a group of college athletes who are fighting for their dreams, experiencing and finding love in the process, and growing every step of the way,” which sounds like EXTREMELY MY JAM. Do I think her dress needs to be a touch shorter and maybe she should pick a strap? Yes. Do I even care about any of that now? NO. NO. WELCOME BACK PREMIERES MY GOD I’VE MISSED YOU.
