First, and most importantly: Season four of The Gilded Age is back on November 1! If you want to catch up on our recaps, they’re here at Drinks With Broads. Recaps are a perk for paid subscribers, and we’ve got A LOT of them coming down the pike soon. In addition to The Gilded Age, Only Murders in the Building and Emily in Paris are both back in December. A subscription is $5 a month — or $50 a year — and you can obviously dip in and out whenever you want if you’re on that monthly cycle; paid subscribers are gonna be really getting their money’s worth the last few months of the year, if I do say so myself! The number of unhinged Wiki deep dives alone!

I am sure Aunt Agnes would say this is a VULGAR conversation but she’s not present at this event. Let’s turn to the matter at hand, though: Both Cynthia Nixon and Emmy-nominated co-show-runner Sonja Warfield look like highly paid, very high-level members of Carrie Coon’s team of legal and professional representation who have accompanied her, their occasionally kooky and very dramatic client, to an event to support her and make sure she doesn’t say anything she’ll regret after running into her arch rival at the venue’s champagne bar. Will they succeed? Only time will tell.
