True confessions time: She is wearing small white earrings, but the step-and-repeat behind her made me briefly believe she had LONG white earrings on, and they were great. I wish they were real. Leaving that aside, though, overall, honestly, this works for me: The cream/white combo drives many of you nuts (including my esteemed and beloved colleague), and while I intellectually get that, it doesn’t really bother me here. The entire thing feels slightly like a Stormtrooper Getting Married, and while those guys are unquestionably the baddies, you can’t deny that they also do have a stylish zing.
