Today’s scuttlebutt is that Wills and Kate were late to leave with everyone for church (and indeed were late for the service itself) and so the Queen left without them and that is just extremely amusing to me. If I were the matriarch, never mind the Queen, I TOO would leave without my grandson if he were dawdling on Easter Sunday. WE WILL DISCUSS THIS OVER THE HAM, WILLIAM. (It’s also entertaining to me to imagine that Harry needling Wills about this, when Harry and Meghan didn’t even go to church with Granny in the first place [Harry actually rarely (if ever) goes to Easter services at Windsor].)
In other news, basically everyone looked very nice. You’ll see.
I was also amused by this video of everyone walking down the hill to the chapel, because you basically see Princess Beatrice think, “MY HEELS ARE TOO HIGH FOR THIS HILL” as she totters down. I have been there.
