I did a little light Googling this morning, and voila, here is why La Bibb is out pounding the pavement again: “The Emmys eligibility period ends on May 31. Nomination voting runs from June 12 to June 23, with official nominations set to be announced July 15.” Get in there! Good for you! I want this for Leslie! (I think the question here is who from White Lotus gets submitted as Best Supporting and who is in Lead Actress. Because I think some of the Girls Trip Girls are gonna cancel each other out. Leslie is definitely supporting, and I suspect Monaghan is, too. I assume Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood and Carrie Coon are in lead. I will be amused when Carrie is up against herself. Natasha Rothwell was previously nominated for Supporting and I suspect she will want to stay there. She lost to Jennifer Coolidge; interestingly, that year every actress on White Lotus was nominated for Supporting, even though I’d argue that Alexandra Daddario, at least, was a lead. Do they not submit for Lead at all??? WAIT. NO. THEY DON’T. EVERYONE goes in supporting. INTERESTING! Jeez. That was a journey. I could delete all of this ruminating. But I won’t. Thanks for going on that ride with me, even if you were screaming the truth at your phone about two sentences in.) (Also, now Carrie Coon could — and might? — win two. Wait, I bet The Gilded Age is Drama Series and White Lotus is Limited Series anyway. MY GOD you guys are seeing the messy inside of my brain today, I AM SORRY.)
WHAT WAS I TALKING ABOUT? This dress. It’s REAL cute. I might have worn flats? But I love it. It’s Oscar de la Renta, if you’re feeling spendy, you can still get it at Nordstrom, and it also comes in a longer length that I love. Every day I am more annoyed that I have not yet won the Lottery!!
